Default i need help with my supra - 06-10-2009, 04:08 PM
im in tampa right now for a little supra meet my friends through together,while i was driving my check engin light came on so i pulled over to plug my code reader in and it said cilinder misfire on all all cilinders what could this be.AEM is getting a flaky cam angle sensor signal.And drained my battery could this be why i have the missfire problem.HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I will have pics up in a little bit

Unblock me and I can say sorry!!!!!!

Pictures up of your check engine light?

It's a misfire so it could be many things causing it. Start with the simple shit like changing the plugs.

the odd of u filling all the plugs is rare, i go with the cam sensor...



Mivec swap, AEM EMS, 80mm FP RED...

Is it standalone or piggy back? My aem had a crank pickup hickup and it was due to using vista to tune.

so im assuming u changed the plugs? try to cam angle sensor, then try checking whatever is before your plug wires delivering the spark to the plugs. im not sure if supras have individual coil packs or not, but if they have 6 individual coil packs like the rb motors, then i would highly assume in the cam angle sensor.

I swaped out the aem with a new one my friend had and now its all good mine is fryed. I'll post some pics.so I'm guessing it needs to be retuned now right

ur AEM is fried? i would be pissed! there might be a way to hook ur old aem up to a laptop and save the tune to the hard drive, then hook up the new one and load it. worth trying.
