AMS VIDEO* AMS Breaks the EVO X HP record!!!

The AMS / NOS Energy Drink Time Attack EVO X left Thursday for round 5 of the Redline time attack series. As many know we won round 4 overall. We did this on only about 540whp. Well.....we said we wanted more....so we got more. Before TA-X was loaded into the trailer we made some changes. First we now have implemented the Carbon kevlar flat bottom we had been working on that we have not previously ran.





MORE importantly TA-X now has a nice shiny AMS GT-850R Turbo kit on it. Hp is now improved from 540whp to a record breaking 670 WHP!!!!! vist http://www.amsperformance.com to watch the video.
So as our boys are about to pull into Carolina Motorsports Park tonight we hope for some big things from TA-X. With 100 plus WHP and more Aero on tap I think its safe to say going faster is in her near future Stay tuned!!!!

There are so many shops working on the X right now, I am sure it will be broken shortly as well. AMS is awesome but they are not the only EVO builders.

if you guys didnt realize this is a time attack car this is a complete car,not just some dyno queen...not a drag car,im sure AMS could get more power out of it,but time attack is about responsiveness and powerband(im still curious as to way they put an 850r on it

The 850 is an awesome turbo, I am sure they had one laying around since they designed it, and they didnt have to buy it saving thousands. I would like to see a break down of mods as well for this. 670 is a lot and a great accomplishment. The car has been out for what 2 years almost now? So this is expected as well.
